Thailand Privilege

More time in Thailand. Know what you are buying.

Thailand Privilege is a membership programme with long-term visa benefits. It may suit people prioritising convenience, but the membership cost, permitted activities and family arrangements deserve a clear comparison.

What membership includes

  • A Privilege visa stamped for the length of your membership, with multiple entries.
  • Airport assistance and fast track on arrival and departure at major airports.
  • Help with 90-day reports and some government paperwork.
  • Yearly service points for lounges, limousine transfers, spa or health checks, depending on tier.

Who it suits, and who it doesn't

It suits people who travel in and out often, can't easily document income, or value time over money. It's also popular with families who want every member on the same long visa.

It doesn't suit anyone who needs to work in Thailand: membership gives no work rights. If you have high income, compare the LTR, which is far cheaper for 10 years.

How to apply

  1. Choose the tier and apply with a passport copy and photo. A background check follows.
  2. On approval, pay the membership fee.
  3. Receive your e-visa or have it stamped on arrival, depending on where you are.

Before you decide

Questions, answered.

Is Thailand Privilege the same as Thai Elite?

Thailand Privilege is the current programme name. Many people still search for it as the Thai Elite visa.

Are you an officially appointed programme agent?

Ask us to confirm any appointment status before relying on it. Our website does not claim official agent accreditation.

Does Thailand Privilege let me buy property?

It doesn't change ownership law. As a foreigner you can own a condo unit; land rules are the same for everyone. See [what foreigners can own](/homes/foreign-ownership/).

Is the fee refundable?

No. Treat it as a cost, not an investment, and compare it with the alternatives first.

Where can I verify the current membership price?

Use Thailand Privilege’s official programme information and a current written quotation. Compare the tier, term, family arrangements and services you expect to use.

Should I compare membership with a retirement or family route?

Yes, if those purposes fit your circumstances. Compare the accepted evidence, total cost, permitted activity and ongoing obligations before deciding.

Does the membership cover every cost of my move?

Review the membership’s actual benefits separately from housing, insurance, relocation and other professional costs. Ask which provider and terms apply to each service.
